Located on the ground floor of the hotel, this restaurant looks out onto the busy street outside. In the summer, its terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a meal. Downtown Brasserie serves a variety of dishes with the highest quality of seasonal Mediterranean ingredients. It is a full service restaurant open until midnight.

The location of the Athena Grand is as central as it can possibly be. It is a very short and pleasant stroll from the central Athens market, Omonia Square, the up-and-coming Psirri area, Monastiraki, Town Hall and the metro and train station. It’s ideal location gives you the opportunity to hop on any bus, train, trolley, or hail a taxi, and within minutes be at one of the many museums, archaeological sites, and tourist attraction that this great city has to offer.

Transportation
Eleftherios Venizelos, Athens’ sparkling new airport, is an approximately 40-minute drive from the Athena Grand.
The Athens metro and train are a few meters away from the hotel. The streets around Omonia Square are dotted with bus and trolley stops. Feel free to ask for help at our reception desk.

Directions from the airport
Just follow the signs on Attiki Odos that point to “Center” and then to Omonia Square and Athinas Street. You can’t miss the hotel, its impressive neoclassical façade is the jewel of the street.
If you are not driving, then take the train from the airport, switch to the red line on Syntagma Square (Agios Antonios direction) and get off on the Omonia Square Station. Walk for a few meters down Athinas Street and you are here.
