Privacy Policy
Your
privacy is very important to "Travel4Greece" and "The
Travel World House" ("we" or "us"). With
that in mind, we have established and implemented information handling
practices for our website that we believe are consistent with the
highest standards and best practices of organizations doing business
on the Internet.
This privacy policy ("policy") describes the practices
that apply to our site, including, specifically, the information
we collect about you, when and how we collect that information and
what may happen to that information. We have prepared a detailed
policy because we believe you should know as much as possible about
our practices so that you can make an informed decision about the
extent of your use of our site.
If users have questions or concerns regarding this statement, they
should first contact our offices.
Simply put:
We will not collect personally identifiable information like your
name, e-mail and mailing address and telephone number ("Personal
Information") without your knowledge and permission;
We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties
unless you have authorized us to do so;
We will allow you to view, correct or remove your Personal Information
and other information associated with your registration as a user
of our site; and
We will take reasonable steps to protect the security of the Personal
Information we collect from you.
The remainder of this policy describes our information handling
practices in detail.
When You Are Just Visiting Our Site...
You can always visit our site without revealing who you are or
providing any Personal Information. When you visit our site or visit
our site through one of our partner's sites, we do collect usage
information ("session data"), but it is anonymous and
is not linked to you as an individual. We use session data to better
understand things like how our site is navigated, how many visitors
arrive at specific pages, the length and frequency of stays at our
site, the variety of searches of our site's database, the types
of browsers and computer operating systems used by our visitors
and the Internet Protocol addresses from which our visitors connect
to our site. We use this information to improve our site content
and ease of use.
Use of Internet Protocol ("IP") Addresses
An IP address is a unique number that is automatically assigned
to your computer whenever you're surfing the Internet so that your
computer can be identified by the main computers, known as "Web
servers", that "serve up" Web pages.
Travel4Greece and/or its affiliates collect IP addresses for
the purposes of system administration, to report aggregated information
to our advertisers, and to audit the use of our site. When Users
request pages from Travel4Greece and/or its affiliates' sites,
our servers log the Users' IP addresses. We do not normally link
IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that
a User's session will be logged, but the User will remain anonymous
to us. We can and will use IP addresses to identify a User when
we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our site terms
of use or terms of service or to protect our service, site, Users
or others.
Cookies
We may place a "cookie" on your personal computer. A
Cookie is a small computer file that our computer sends to your
computer and that your computer sends back to us each time you make
a request from our site. Cookies help us recognize you when you
visit our site again. We use cookies on our site to collect session
data for several purposes to personalize and improve your individual
viewing experiences on our site. For example, we use cookies to
keep track of your use of our site, gather data to improve the content
of our site, provide information that may be of interest to you
and improve the security of your experience with us. Most Internet
browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can instruct
your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies
or prompt you before accepting a cookie from the sites you visit.
If you decide not to accept our cookies, you will still be able
to access those parts of our site that are available to the general
public, but you will not be able to view some information on our
site, use some features designed to enhance your experience at our
site or access many of the services offered at our site.
We also have third party advertisers ("advertisers")
on our site. These advertisers may use cookies and pixel tags to
track session data about the ads you have seen and types of things
that you appear interested in. We do not share any Personal Information
about you with these advertisers unless you give us permission to
do so separate from any permission you provide during the registration
process. However, these advertisers may have other sources of information
and their own privacy practices. These advertisers may also use
combined information about your visits to our site and other sites
in order to provide advertisements about related goods and services
that you may be interested in. When you visit a site that we advertise
on, we may place a cookie on your personal computer. You can learn
more about the use of cookies by, and the information gathering
practices of our network advertising partners, and about opting
out, by visiting http://networkadvertising.org Similarly, we advertise
on other sites. If you utilize our "Send" feature to forward
information about flight specials and other travel opportunities
available on our site to a friend, family member or colleague via
e-mail, we may place a cookie on that individual's computer.
When You Decide To Register With Us...
Personal Information
If you decide to register with us, we will collect Personal Information
about you that you voluntarily share. We collect Personal Information
that is necessary for us to provide you with the services offered
on our site. As mentioned, this Personal Information includes things
like your name, e-mail and mailing address and telephone number.
You will provide an e-mail address and select a username and password
that will be required to gain access to portions of our site.
Other Information
You may decide to share other information ("Other Information")
with us about yourself (for example, demographic information like
your age and gender) and your travel preferences and experiences
(for example, seat selection, participation in airline/hotel/car-rental
loyalty or awards programs and applicable membership numbers, meal
requests and ticketing options). If you share Other Information
with us, we will use it to automatically record your travel preferences
in reservations you make, tailor your experience at our site to
your interests and make more appropriate travel recommendations
to you. You may still use our site to search for and purchase travel
services even if you choose not to share this type of information
with us.
Traveler Profile
We combine your Personal Information and Other Information you
voluntarily share with us in what we call your "Traveler Profile".
We also add your session data to your Traveler Profile. We may also
collect information about you from outside sources and add it to
your Traveler Profile. We collect and use all of the information
in your Traveler Profile to improve the quality of our service to
you and your experience with us. For example, we may use the combination
of information in your Traveler Profile to (a) personalize the service
we provide to you, (b) communicate with you about changes to your
travel plans, service updates and new features or outages on our
site, and (c) allocate the resources of our systems so that your
experience with our site is as efficient as possible.
Opt-out
As part of the registration process, we give you two important
choices ("opt-out") about advertisements, updates and
promotions. We hope you will find these items interesting and informative.
In fact, we will use the information you tell us about your travel
preferences and experiences to share customized advertisements,
updates and promotions with you that include our recommendations
to you about travel specials. Nonetheless, you will let us know
if you do not want us to use your e-mail addresses to deliver to
you: (1) our regular deals update highlighting fare specials, promotions,
contests, sweepstakes and other travel opportunities available on
our site and/or sponsored by our travel service providers and advertisers;
and/or (2) our newsletter highlighting fare specials, promotions,
contests, sweepstakes and other travel opportunities available on
our site and/or sponsored by our travel service providers. If you
do not opt-out from receiving these communications about our site,
we will send them to you. Of course, if you do not opt-out during
registration, but later change your mind, you can visit My Account
to tell us that you would like to "opt-out" of and stop
receiving either or both of these communications.
Online Surveys and Contests
We value your comments and opinions. From time to time, we will
invite you, as a registered user of our site, to participate in
online surveys, but the choice will be yours. Each time you purchase,
book or reserve travel services or accommodations through our site
our Traveler Advocate will ask for your feedback on your experience.
Your participation in these surveys is on an anonymous basis, unless
we tell you up-front otherwise. We may offer you the chance to win
a variety of travel related prizes by sponsoring contests. You choose
to participate in these contests or not. If you choose to participate
in these contests, you will share certain of your Personal Information
with us, like your full name, e-mail address and mailing address.
Participation in these contests may include participation in an
online survey. We will only use your Personal Information to notify
you if you win a contest.

to your Traveler Profile. We will keep a history of all your reservations,
bookings and purchases of travel services and accommodations through
our site in your Traveler Profile, unless you choose to edit your

arrival time. These "Care Alerts" can be selected for
one or all parts of your trip and can be received by you and others
of your choosing by telephone, cell phone, fax, e-mail, pager or
other wireless device. If you decide to direct a Care Alert to someone
other than yourself, we will collect Personal Information about
that other person that is necessary to send the requested Care Alert
(e.g., that person's name and phone number or e-mail address). You
will need to make sure that each of the other recipients of a Care
Alert agrees, in advance, that you can disclose their Personal Information
to us for this purpose.

As a registered Travel4Greece member, you can receive e-mails
about special promotions, surveys, contests, sweepstakes, fare specials,
trip information, or other travel opportunities on Travel4Greece
and its marketing partners. We may also use your e-mail address
or telephone number to contact you about changes to your purchased
travel itinerary. To make these e-mails more useful to you, we may
attach a Web beacon that provides confirmation when you open an
e-mail from Travel4Greece. This only occurs if your computer
supports such technology.
Responses to your questions or suggestions
We will use your e-mail address or telephone number to respond
when you submit a question or suggestion, or request assistance
with viewing your itinerary, logging on to Travel4Greece, or
accessing your account

travel providers that you decide to make arrangements with through
our site. For example, when you purchase a travel reservation, we
will provide the service provider with the Personal Information
needed to process your transaction. We use our reasonable efforts
to ensure that these travel providers will also protect your Personal
Information. We contract with other companies to perform various
functions necessary to operate our business - for example, to deliver
tickets, ship items and process credit cards. We will share with
these other companies only that Personal Information they require
to fulfill your orders. These companies agree that they will not
use or disclose that Personal Information for any other purpose.
Although Travel4Greece offers travel products from service suppliers
that are reputable companies, we have not placed limitations on
these suppliers from using or disclosing your information without
your permission. Therefore, we encourage you to review the information
privacy practices of any travel suppliers whose products you purchase
on Travel4Greece. In addition, these travel suppliers may also
contact you as necessary to obtain additional information about
your confirmed reservation. Other than as explained in this policy,
we will not disclose any Personal Information we collect from you
to others without your permission, except in certain limited circumstances:
(a) to protect the security of our site and our rights under our
User Agreement; (b) to protect ourselves against liability; (c)
in response to legal process, (d) if we believe in good faith that
the law requires it; or (e) in connection with a sale of our business
or company. Please note that if we receive a formal request to disclose
your Personal Information in connection with a legal action, we
will attempt to tell you about it at least ten (10) days before
we respond to that request, if permitted by law, via the e-mail
address you provided during registration.

to offer Travel4Greece' travel services. These trusted third-party
companies have added travel sections to their Web sites in order
to offer Travel4Greece provided travel services.
Our obligations

you have provided in obtaining our travel products or services.
Travel4Greece may also disclose information against someone who
poses a threat to Travel4Greece' interests (such as customer
fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others. In addition,
it may be necessary for Travel4Greece to provide customer information
to third parties, such as credit card companies, for the purpose
of resolving disputes that arise in the normal course of business.
Purchase travel
Each time you purchase travel through Travel4Greece, or change
or cancel a confirmed travel reservation, you will receive confirmation
of your travel itinerary via e-mail. In the event that your travel
plans are disrupted because of mechanical, weather, or carrier business
conditions, Travel4Greece may contact you to inform you of these
disruptions and help you make alternative travel arrangements.
Corporate Travel
If you, or someone acting on your behalf, purchase(s) travel services
or accommodations through our site and (a) you, or someone acting
on your behalf, tell(s) us that your purchase is for corporate travel
purposes either by (i) indicating in the booking path that the purchase
is for corporate travel or (ii) indicating that the credit card

You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing
Travel4Greece with their full names, contact numbers, e-mail
addresses, and travel preferences, as they will be unable to directly
access our systems to view or change any information you provide
on their behalf. We will retain these other travelers' Personal

to describe our user base, without reference to any specific individual,
to potential partners, investors and advertisers. We will not share
your Personal Information with any other users of our site, but
we may use information we collect about your travel preferences
and experiences to make recommendations to other users of our site.
For example, if we know that you and other users of our site who
have traveled to a particular destination had positive experiences
during the Ride taken at that destination, we might recommend that
service provider to others who will be traveling to that destination.
We may also share aggregated statistical information about users
of our site and our service and product offerings with others, including
our vendors and partners. We will not link this statistical information
to any Personal Information that can identify you as an individual.
