If you arrive by cruise ship in Santorini, disembarkation will be by tender boats to the old port of Fira. Then you get up to Fira by cable car (
Round Trip Cable Car tickets - per person 8 euro)
or by a donkey in a traditional way that many travelers choose for fun
In both cases, you will arrive at the exit of Fira cable car, where your licensed tour guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name.

If you want to explore the history of this island with a professional English-speaking driver, this tour is not to be missed…. You will be driving on an air-conditioned vehicle to the archeological site of Akrotiri, the remains of the earthquake, which was discovered in the bronze age of 1500 B.C. Here you will learn the myths and facts about Santorini.
You will continue by visiting the lovely beaches of Vlichada and Perissa where you can enjoy a peaceful lunch. Returning, you will be then taken to the traditional village of Pyrgos where there are many beautiful churches and a castle built of the top of the village. You will also visit Kamari, Firostefani and the best view of the Caldera is next and that is from the village of Imerovigli. We keep the best till last the second largest town on the island, Ia. This is where you will have spare time to cruise around the cobbled street and most of all enjoy the breathtaking picturesque sunset in the world before returning to Fira. If you are feeling romantic this moment will be never forgotten….
